What The Carnation Will Cover

Business, spaces, culture, public life, and the questions Alliance should be asking out loud.

By The Editors | July 3, 2026 | 3 min read

The Carnation exists to keep a record of Alliance as it changes: the people doing the work, the spaces becoming useful, and the questions that deserve public attention.

The case in front of us

Coverage will focus on local business, available and underused spaces, cultural life, public ideas, civic partners, and the visible progress that helps people understand where the city is going. Some pieces will be reported stories. Some will be editorial notes, interviews, maps, prompts, or public questions. Sponsored features will be labeled clearly.

What comes next

The standard is not volume. The standard is usefulness.
